NOTE: Is for Mature Audiences, due to the language and subject matter covered in the play.

Wayside Theatre Wants Your Old Cell Phones!
|
|
Bring your old cell phones to Wayside Theatre during the run of DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, July 17th through August 14th, and receive one complimentary voucher per phone to see a Thursday or Friday evening performance of STRIKING 12, August 28th through September 25th.
At the end of Dead Man's run, half of the phones we collect will be sent to ReCellular, Inc. to be refurbished and sent to Cell Phones for Soldiers, which provides pre-paid phone cards to our men and women in the military, and half will be sent to Response Inc., a local Shenandoah Valley organization which provides phones and services dedicated to preventing and helping people overcome the problems of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other abusive relationships.
Cell Phones for Soldiers is partnering with ReCellular, Inc. in the collection of used cell phones. ReCellular is the world leader in electronics sustainability and is committed to recycling all electronic waste in order to protect the environment by refurbishing phones instead of sending them to land fills.

AUDITIONS FOR "HARRY HOUDINI, MASTER MAGICIAN"
|
|
Wayside Theatre's Education in Action is looking for young actors ages 13-18 for the fall production of "Harry Houdini: Master Magician (working title)". Actors will be asked to read from the script for the audition.
Roles to be filled:
*Harry Houdini - one actor plays from age 12-52. Hungarian accent nice, but not necessary.
*Bess Houdini: (19-51) Houdini's wife
*Theo Houdini (10-50) Harry's brother. Hungarian accent nice, but not necessary.
*Ensemble members: Play a variety of roles like stage hands, reporters, audience members, nurses and doctors.
Audition Dates: Monday, August 9 and Tuesday August 10
Times: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

One-on-One Monologue and Audition Workshops are available for your monologues or audition pieces for college auditions, SETC auditions, stage and TV auditions and commercial auditions, etc.

NOTE: The Season Subscription DOES NOT INCLUDE the Christmas Production.
The 2010-2011 Season will run from June 5, 2010 through April 23, 2011 (Does not include the Christmas production).
Besides the savings to our patrons, subscribers has the added benefits of Subscribing: (1) Local restaurants and business coupons, (2) Subscribers can purchase their single tickets to the Christmas performance beginning day after Labor Day 2010 prior to Going on Sale to the Public on October 12th.
