SESSION II – Musical Theatre
July 28-August 1 (M-F) 9 AM – 3 PM
Recital at YDC on August 1 at 1:00 PM
Ages: 13-18 years old
SESSION III
August 4- 15 (M-F) 9 AM – 3 PM
Recital at YDC on August 15 at 1:00 PM
YPW 1 (7-11 AGES), YPW 2 (12-18 ages)
REGISTRATION BEGINS ON Thursday, April 24.
Both sessions of YPW 1 and YPW 2 classes have only 12 available slots. The Music Theatre class will have only 8 available slots, to register call (540) 869-1776. * * * Slots are filled on first-come-first-served basis* * * The two-week sessions are grouped by age, not experience. YPW I is for 7-11 years old and the children must be able to read. YPW II is for 12-18 years old, and Musical Theatre is for 13-18 years old.
FEES:
The cost for YPW Sessions I & III is $325.00 per student per session.
The cost of Music Theatre Session II is $250.00 per student.
All fees are payable at time of registration.
Tuition may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or Discover). Payment plans must be approved by the YPW Coordinator, and a down payment will be required.
Summer camps will be held at the Youth Development Center, 3 Battaile Drive, Winchester, VA. 22601. It is located off Route 11 just north of Kernstown.
The YPW Workshops are an intensive, fun two-week program expanding opportunities in the dramatic arts for area youth, with performance, staging and interaction. The program teaches children and teens acting and performance skills and techniques through the process of rehearsing and performing a show.
It is designed to accommodate performers at all levels of experience – first timers who want to give it a try through advanced students looking for a challenge to move them forward in their acting training. The program aims to help each individual performer be the best they can be at their stage of development.

Wayside Theatre is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on the help of our supporters in the Shenandoah Valley. All donations to Wayside are TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Your donations provide funds for the day-to-day operations at Wayside. Your donations really do help us take care of all the many expenses involved in running the theatre. Think of all the copy paper, paper towels, and lumber we go through each season. You would be amazed at the long list of supplies we use.

RENOVATION UPDATE INFO

Wayside Theatre is RETURNING to our newly renovated facility for the 2008-2009 Season.
AS, we are nearing the conclusion of Phase I and look forward to returning to our Historic Home in Middletown, VA. We like to thank the Front Royal/Warren County EDA for all their help this past year during this construction period of Wayside Theatre.
We are planning our return to our Middletown facility for our July 12th Opening of "Always Patsy Cline."

2008-2009 SEASON SUBSCRIPTIONS on SALE NOW

Subscribe Now!!! The 2008-2009 Season Subscriptions are on sale. PK-5 and PK-3 Subscriptions are available for purchase for the 2008-2009 Season. Wayside Theatre will be producing 6 productions, which will be announced at a later date. One can call the Wayside Theatre Box Office (540) 869-1776 to place your order by phone. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
NOTE: The Season Subscription DOES NOT INCLUDE the Christmas Production.
All 2008-09 Subscriptions will be mailed out to patrons in Spring 2008.
The 2008-2009 Season will run from June 14, 2008 through April 25, 2009 (Does not include the Christmas production).
Besides the savings to our patrons, subscribers has the added benefits of Subscribing: (1) Local restaurants and business coupons, (2) Subscribers can purchase their single tickets to the Christmas performance beginning day after Labor Day 2008 prior to Going on Sale to the Public on October 6th. (3)Subscribers may change their performance date with a 24 hour notice to the Box Office.
