School Matinees
School Matinees give your students the opportunity to experience professional theatre on the Wayside stage. Take just a few rows or fill the theatre – either way your students get a full theatre experience. Matinees are scheduled every year for Wayside’s annual Christmas Production, and any Emerging Artist production and can be scheduled by request for subscription season productions. Don’t let your students miss the wonder of theatre.

One-Man and One-Woman Shows
Through Wayside Theatre, you can bring an actor to your organization to perform one-person shows. Your group can learn about history through interactive performances full of rich storytelling and characterization. These unique productions are a wonderful way to complement a lesson, introduce a topic or just have some fun!

Wayside currently offers “Portraits of Herstory” with Barbara Callandar (last seen in Unnecessary Farce) which explores womens' quest for the vote and “Civil War Stories” with Nick Nerangis (last seen in A Christmas Story).
