Roger Eaves
(Burl)Roger is happy to be joining some old friends and meeting new ones. He is excited to be perform- ing one of his favorite shows here at the Wayside Theatre. Roger now makes his home in Little Rock, AK, where he has been a regular at Murry’s Dinner Play- house for many years. If you didn’t blink, you might also have seen Roger in such films as Slingblade, Ali, Galaxy Quest, and Disney’s The Kid. Most recently, you can see Roger in the opera commercials for J.G. Wentworth.
Jody Lee
(Stanley)Jody is originally from Arlington, Texas and is thrilled to be a part of Wayside Theatre’s 50th Season. Jody has appeared in Wayside’s produc- tions of Reunion, The Nerd, The Woman in Black, and, most recently, in Glory Bea! A Shenandoah Christmas Story. He holds a BA in Theatre and a BA in Mu- sic from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Some of his favorite roles include: Father in Six Characters in Search of an Author, Lee in Heart in the Ground, and Leonato in Much Ado about Nothing.
Jennie Malone
(Denise)Jennie is thrilled to be a member of the Sanders Family for the 11th time! She most recently ap- peared as Vi Petty in The Buddy Holly Story at Allenberry Playhouse, PA. Originally from Cincinnati, Jennie has performed aboard Asuka Cruise (Ja- pan), as Martha Cratchit on a National Tour of A Christmas Carol, and as a model and musician at JOCKEY’S International Convention. She is also a pro- fessional steel drummer in The Bacchanal Steel Band, who opened for The Beach Boys last summer. And, you may catch a glimpse of Jennie as a snooty country club member in the Hollywood feature film Tan Lines, due out next year. www.jenniemalone.com
Theresa McGuirk
(Understudy, June)Theresa has previously been seen on the Wayside stage in the 2003 production of Christmas Carol and, most recently, in Glory Bea! A Shenandoah Christmas Story. Theresa has been performing for many years and has had the privilege of playing such great characters as Cinderella in Into the Woods, Lucy in You’re a Good, Man Charlie Brown, Ophelia in Hamlet, and most recently as Meg March in Little Women the Musical. She is a graduate of UNC- Wilmington with a degree in Theater and tries to inspire the children she teaches to love acting as much as she does. **Theresa will play june sanders february 2-4.
Pam Pendleton
(Vera)Pam is delighted to return to Wayside Theatre for a repeat performance of Vera in SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN. Other memorable roles include Charlotte in MOON OVER BUFFALO, Louise in ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE, Mrs. Van Daan in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK, Beverly in THE SHADOW BOX, Joanne in COMPANY, and Maggie in 42nd STREET. Pam’s most challenging role in the theatre was being President/Producer of Water Tower Theatre in Dallas, Texas and her most rewarding theatre experience was performing in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Callier Theatre of the Deaf.
Steve Przybylski
(Mike/Resident Music Director/Sound Designer)Steve is thrilled to begin his 11th season at the Wayside! Steve is the author of the musical plays Shadow of the Raven: Stories of Edgar Allen Poe and This Time Around. He is the co-creator, with Warner Crocker, of Southern Crossroads and its prequel, Southern Crossroads: The New Orleans Adventure, as well as musical adaptations of A Christmas Carol and Miracle on 34th Street. Most recognizable to Wayside audiences as Dennis in the Smoke on the Mountain trilogy, he has also appeared in Striking 12, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, and A Murder, A Mystery, A Marriage. Other credits include The Gallery Players, The Theater at Monmouth, Barter Theatre, Surflight Theatre, Rocky Mountain Rep. Steve is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
Thomasin Savaiano
(Annie Thorne)Thomasin is very glad to be back home on the Wayside stage after appearing all summer at Totem Pole Playhouse in PA. She is a Chicago native who has worked at Wayside since 1999. Some notable roles include: Jean in Dead Man’ Cell Phone, Veta Louise in Harvey, Irene Adler in Sherlock Holmes, Shannon in the Southern Crossroads series, Louise in Always..Patsy Cline, June in the Smoke on the Mountain series, Emilia in Othello, Deborah in Smell of the Kill, Eve in Diaries of Adam & Eve, Alma in Christmas Schooner, Lilli/Kate in Kiss Me Kate, & Catherine in Wuthering Heights. She’s also worked at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in NY, and various other Virginia theatres. She’s Founder of the 11-year-old Young Performers’ Workshop, and has been working in Admin. since 2008.
Alex Sheets
(Pastor Oglethrorpe)Alex is a graduate of Shenandoah University. Some of his most recent credits include Dracula (Arthur Homewood), Along About Sundown (Ethan), Annie (Bert Healey), and The Ballad of Tom Dooley (Tom Dooley). This is his second Way- side production, and he is very grateful to have the chance to be working here again with such a talented and wonder- ful cast.
